The morning sun…

The clouds were blanket of warmth
When the sun was still to wake for the day
The cool breeze made him smile a bit
And made him lazy as in sleep he lay

He peeped through the clouds shyly once
Saw the world yet to wake for the day
He knew its time for him to wake the world
And shine his best for the wonderful day

The hugging clouds kept him in bed
But his duties called the birds to chirp
And wake him with a smile on his face
Its another day when he can’t be a twirp.
